Slip During 3-4 Upshift

Affected Transmissions:

CAUSE:
Exchange transmission has incorrect large intermediate plate installed.

REMEDY:
Remove valve body and inspect large intermediate plate.

Large Intermediate Plate:

- If large intermediate plate has two bores in positions indicated in illustration (arrow), replace large intermediate plate.

- If large intermediate plate does not have two bores in positions indicated in illustration (arrow) and the complaint can be readily duplicated, replace complete clutch K2 disc carrier.
