Mercedes valve bodies have a part number that is ink stamped on it for identification purposes.
The chart list the valve bodies used from 1974-1990. This list does not cover "grey market" cars.
Example of how to use the chart:
NOTE:
Some early units (74-80) do not have a model number stamped on the case. In that event you will need to rely on the year and model of the car.
