The tensioning pulley mounting arm is now secured to the crankshaft housing with a hex. socket head bolt instead of the previous hex. head bolt. The hex. socket head bolt can only be loosened/tightened with special tool 117 589 03 07 00 (this is especially important when adjusting the tension of the belt, Figure 1).

Other tools may damage the crankshaft pulley (alternator V-belt), which will eventually damage the V-belt.
