Test Step #8 - Pressure Valves Internal Resistance

TEST PROCEDURE:
With ignition off, place switch in position #8, #9 and #10 observe ohmmeter reading with ground switch pushed in.

RESULTS POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDY

No Fault Found
Ohmmeter reading 0.7 - 1.7 ohms
in each switch position
- Go to TEST STEP #9

Fault Found
Reading greater than 1.7 ohms Poor connection on hydraulic unit, Check plug connection,
or less than 0.7 ohms Open in wiring harness, Check connecting lines,
Solenoid valve defective Replace hydraulic unit
