Test Step #6 - Dynamic Speed Sensor

TEST PROCEDURE:
With the ignition on and the switch in position #4 (front left), #5 (front right) or #6 (rear) turn respective wheel at about 1 rev/sec.

NOTE: When testing rpm sensor of rear axle, hold one wheel in place.

No Fault Found
Voltmeter reading of greater than
or equal to 0.1V
- Go to TEST STEPS #8, #9 and #10


Fault Found
Voltmeter reading of 0V Wheel speed sensor wiring shorted Check connecting wiring,
to ground, Replace speed sensor
Wheel sensor open
